Several personnalities will join the pack!


The 11th edition of the Shimano 24 Hours cycling race will take place on the 24 and 25 August 2019, on the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit, and 540 teams are expected at the start.

Several personalities will come too, to cover the greatest numbers of laps in 24 hours for the biggest delight of the 2564 riders expected at the start. At the corner of a pit in the paddock or during a relay on the track, everyone will have the opportunity to meet champions from all backgrounds. Jérémy Roy, professional rider from 2003 to 2018 at « La Française des Jeux », will ride under the colors of Shimano France. Three privileged people will join his team for a unique experience with access to the pit lounge and complete equipment offered, including an Ultrega Group. Sandy Casar, also professional rider from 1999 to 2013 at « La Française des jeux » will ride under the colors of the French Police. He will be the mentor of the initiative launched by the general direction which aims to develop team cohesion. Roger Legeay, mentor of the event, professionnal rider from 1973 to 1982 and director of the « Crédit Agricole » team will participate at the event for the 11th time in a row. The skier and pilot Luc Alphand might be part of the event once again…
